Seeking Managing Editor for the Journal of Integral Theory & Practice
Join the leadership of the leading academic journal for Integral Theory and help shape the emergence of this exciting new field. This position places you in the center of working with the pioneers of the AQAL model. This is a rare opportunity to be on the ground floor of a major initiative: making the Journal of Integral and Theory and Practice more professional, academic, and widely available.
In addition to serving as the Managing Editor for the Journal, this position will also serve as a dedicated support resource for Integral Institute's academic partnerships with JFK University and Fielding Graduate University. Please send resumes to shargens@integralinstitute.org.
Responsibilities:

Work with Executive Editor to coordinate all activities related to quarterly publication of Journal
Coordinate scheduling between authors and editors
Copy editing and proofreading of articles
Coordinate development of graphic elements
Manage all aspects of journal publication (print and online)
Assist with budget development for Journal and academic partnerships.
Coordinate academic invoicing, revenue accruals and cost reporting
Manage journal website and academic support web interfaces
Assist with planning and implementation of in-person academic intensives
Manage academic marketing and promotional efforts

Requirements:
MA in English, Journalism, or related degree
A solid background in Integral Theory and its application
Experience in academic writing, publication, program coordination preferred
At least, two years relevant experience in the coordination of print and electronic publications (including proofreading and copyediting);
Proficiency with the following programs: Word, Excel, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat
